Wills, Lawrence L., 76, loving husband, father, grandfather, retired Wichita Police Department officer, and Boeing Aircraft Company security officer, passed away Friday, March 6, 2009. Service, 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 11, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Margaret; 5 children: Richard L. Beeton and Teresa L. Beeton, both of Wichita, Larry D. Wills of New Mexico, David Wills of Tennessee, Mary Teresa Arthur of California; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. “Larry” touched the hearts of all he met. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

May you be comforted by God’s love in this time of sadness. Larry and my husband, Dave Moore, served together in the Army in Virginia in the early 50’s. Dave valued Larry’s friendship and had pleasant memories of their times together. I met Larry and his family once when we visited them in 1971. Dave tried to contact him later when we were in Wichita but was unsuccessful. My condolances to you, your family, and especially Larry (jr).
