Patricia J. Hansen

Hansen, Patricia J., 64, passed to the more abundant life on Thursday, October 9, 2008, in Wichita. She was born September 5, 1944, at Joplin, Missouri, to Burgis and Rosa Mae Taber. She was formerly employed with Dillards Towne East. Patties battle with breast cancer began in late 1999. She fought a vigilant battle against the various manifestations of the disease and cherished every day she lived as a cancer survivor. Patricia was preceded in death by her mother, Rosa Mae Taber, and is survived by her father, Burgis Taber; brother, Dennis (Kay) Taber; husband, Duane; children, Jim (LeAnn), Wendell (Amy), Brenda (Wakon Fowler) and Linda (Brendan Steinacher). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Amanda (Quincy Hands) and Joe Hansen, Grant, Britt and Chandler Hansen, Evan, Emma and Elly Fowler, Gavin, Colton and Dawson Steinacher. Memorials established with Victory in The Valley, 3755 E. Douglas, Wichita, KS 67218, Friends University, 2100 University, Wichita, KS 67213 and Northridge Friends Church, 2655 N. Bullinger, Wichita, KS 67204. Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, October 13 at 10:30 A.M. at Northridge Friends Church. A private family burial has already taken place.
