Sheppard, Ruth, 88, retired saleslady for J.M. McDonalds, died Thursday, March 8, 2007. Visitation with family, 6:00-8:00 P.M., Sunday, March 11; service, 10:00 A.M., Monday, March 12, both at Downing Lahey Mortuary West, 10515 W. Maple. Preceded in death by husband, Roger A. Sheppard. Survivors: son, Steve Sheppard of Shelton, WA; daughter, Sheryl Gire of Wichita; grandchildren, Brad Siegfreid, Sarah Gire, Courtland Gire, Aaron and Nicholas Sheppard; 2 great-grandchildren.

I just wanted to extend my sympathy to your family. I worked with Roger at Davis Mfg/Case and after his death became a friend of your Mother’s as we worked through insurance problems and issues. We continued to talk occasionally over the following years. She was a lovely lady who loved her family dearly. It was an honor to have known her.
