Kevin Craig Switzer

Kevin Craig Switzer, 67, electrician, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017. Rosary, 7 p.m.; Visitation 7:30-9 p.m., both Sunday, March 19, Downing & Lahey Mortuary West. Funeral Service, 10 a.m., Monday, March 20, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Kevin was a member of the IBEW Local Union #271 for over 41 years. He was extremely proud of his time served in the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf and cooking. Preceding him in death were his father, Leland, and brother, Danny. Survivors: wife, Merlene; mother, Peggy Switzer of Wichita; brother, Stan Switzer (Donna) of Florida; sisters, Karlene Ivy (Virgil) of Wichita, Dana Ehrmann (Mickey) of Haysville, Soni Nicholson (Nick) of Florida; sister-in-law, Jeri Switzer of Overland Park; many nieces, nephews and godchildren.
