Darin Scott Valentine, 54, Spirit Aerosystems Composite Repair Mechanic, entered this life on April 19, 1965 and left us on Tuesday, July 23, 2019. Visitation will be from 5 – 7 pm, Friday, July 26, 2019; Funeral Service will be at 11 am, Saturday, July 27, 2019, both at Downing & Lahey West Mortuary. Darin loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was always busy with some project helping family and friends, but he also found time to have fun. He didn’t know a stranger, and everyone was his friend. He will be missed by all that he knew. Preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Valentine; mother, Pat L. Hammar; son, Alex Valentine. Survived by his wife, Robin Valentine; daughters, Kara and Abby Valentine; brothers, David (Debbie) Valentine, Dean (Darlene) Valentine, Drew (Joy) Valentine; sister, Dana Valentine; numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family.

Darin was a genuine good guy. I always enjoyed him at our class reunions. He always stayed to help clean up and he and Mike Cooper and I would end up chatting way later than we should have. Darin will be missed. Godspeed my friend. See you again someday.
