Joan Marie Neitzke

Joan Marie Neitzke, 87, left this earth to meet our Savior on March 10, 2014. Joan was born January 7, 1927 to Kennard and Jane Storlie. She married Raymond Neitzke on February 7, 1947 and the young couple moved to Arkansas City, Kansas where they raised three children. Joan retired from the John Morrell meatpacking plant in Arkansas City in 1983. In 2000, she moved to Wichita to live with her youngest daughter. She enjoyed genealogy, painting and discussing current events, but most of all she enjoyed being with her family who loved her dearly. Joan was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers, David and Phillip Storlie. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Margaret Neitzke of Winnipeg, Canada; daughters, Deborah Cleveland and Victoria Reed of Wichita; siblings, William Storlie and Liz Pellowski (Don) of Winona, MN and Sue Fladhammer (LeRoy) of Columbia City, IN; 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family.
