WICHITA - Biel, Warren Dale, 80, died Tuesday, June 25, 2013. Our dad, Warren D. Biel, was born March 26, 1933 in Herington, KS. He was the youngest child to Hilda and Rev. Walter Biel. He graduated from Linn High School, where he played football, basketball, and even track. His love for basketball took him to K-State and the meeting of our mom, Carolyn. They were united in marriage on June 27, 1954 by Rev. Biel. Warren was a Social Worker for the state of Kansas. Warren and Carolyn shared the love of travel. Dad also enjoyed hunting and fishing anything to do with the great outdoors. Left behind to celebrate his life are his children Kent and Kim, along with Kents wife, Lori, and her sons John and Jared Ahrens, and Johns wife, LeighAnne, and their children Gavin and Macyn, all from Topeka. Kims family includes husband David Brown from Rose Hills, KS, and their children Eric Brown of Virginia Beach, VA, and Staci Hunt and her husband Willie, and her son Skyler Brown, from Wichita, KS. Warren lost his battle with cancer. Mom and Dad are in heaven dancing together. Dad has found his hunting fields and mom has found her craft. We find comfort in knowing they are together again. Funeral Service will be at 12:00 P.M., Saturday, July 6, 2013, at St. Andrews Lutheran Church, Wichita, KS. Inurnment will be at 12:00 P.M., Saturday, July 13, 2013, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia, KS. Downing Lahey Mortuary East.

One of my true friends Warren was a good one. We would hunt birds and party at the drop of a hat. Took me 10 years to find this and hope you can forward to Kent and Kim. Bob Wagner still kicking.
