Vix, Dorothy A., 88, went to be with her Lord, Thursday June 26, 2008. No public viewing. Private service. Preceded in death by husband, George Vix and brother, Richard Holm. Survivors: daughter, Susan and Tom Vrana of Wichita; son, Richard and Sandi Vix of Wichita; brother, Charles Holm of Richfield, MN; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with First Evangelical Free Church, 1825 N. Woodlawn, Wichita, KS, 67208. Downing Lahey Mortuary East.

I had the pleasure of styling Dorothy’s hair for the past year at Larksfield Place. She spoke often of her family and how blessed she was to have kids and grandkids who loved and took such good care of her.
