Wilson, Esther A., 84, homemaker, died Monday, March 12, 2007. Service 10:00 A.M., Friday, March 16, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Preceded in death by husband, William Wilson, son, Ron Wilson and grandson, Peter Wilson. Survivors: son, Terry Wilson (Barbara) of Harper, KS; daughter, Ali Hatfield (Larry) of Wichita; sisters, Catherine Bowman of Amazonia, MO and June Stienman (Ed) of Savannah, MO; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with the Veterans Administration, 5500 E. Kellogg, Wichita, KS, 67218.

Dear Ali and Terry, I am so sorry to hear about your mom passing. I just wanted you to know your family will be in my thoughts, and prayers. She was my favorite Aunt. I wish I could be there, but circumstances won’t let me. I love you all.
Ali, Terry and families, Just a note of sadness in my heart and my condolences to you for the passing of Esther. She and Pete were our neighbors for 30 years and we enjoyed having them for that time. I always enjoyed the good things Esther would bring over for us to eat. Tobie and Kris are 38 now and they remembered making May baskets when they were kids and hanging them on Esther’s door.
