Greenwood, Margaret Elsie (Wendhausen), 80, died Monday, October 17, 2005, following a long illness. Service 10:00 A.M., Thursday, October 27, 2005, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Preceded in death by her husband, Gale Whitney Greenwood, mother, Lelia Wigal Wendhausen and father, Cyrus Leonard Wendhausen. She is survived by her cousins, Flinn R. Cremin (Mrs. Timothy O. Cremin) of Tulsa, OK and Belinda A Eubanks (Mrs. Ralph Eubanks) of Sand Springs, OK. Margaret was a long time employee of Boeing, retiring in 1986. She was a member of the Daughters of Union Veterans and a supporter of the Sedgwick County Zoo, the Kansas Humane Society and The Salvation Army. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to one of these organizations.

Margaret and I worked together at Boeing between 1979 and 1981, then I transferred to another job. Over the years, I saw Margaret occasionally out and about. I remember her fondly. She was always a calm, soft-spoken friend, and a good listener. My sympathy to her cousins. I trust Margaret is in her heavenly reward and that we will meet again someday.
