  1. Mendi was a kind and gentle person, and from what I remember-always quick to smile! We are praying for her and her family.

  2. Dear Egging and Cotter families, Our sincerest and deepest condolences on the passing of your beloved Mendi. You will all be in our prayers. May she Rest In Peace And May Eternal Light shine upon her. May your memories of her be a comfort. Carol & Lowell Neilson

  3. Mendi, I don’t even know where I should start. The memories that have been flooding in are all the good ones, from when we were kids. Building the forts out in the trees, playing in the dip every time it rained(like it did last night), setting the tent up and staying in it night after night, having a picnic ON THE ROOF while Mom slept, roller skating in circles downstairs, bike rides, and playing cards. You were the baby, my little sister. You followed me everywhere and drove me crazy. From the time you were little you wanted to grow up, get married and have kids. When you met Jason and his 2 (at the time small children), your entire world changed, for the better. Your smile even bigger, your laugh more frequent. You lived out the last several years just how you had always imagined, to the FULLEST! With the ones that you loved right by your side. I pray for Jason, Austin and Briana that they may find comfort and peace from this day forward, knowing that they have you looking out for them from now on. I have no doubt in my mind that right now you are sitting up in heaven with everyone you love. I have loved you since the day you were born, and I’ll love you until the last breath that I breathe. DAMN it this is hard. Goodbye for now, I’ll see you when I can. But until then, l’ll be here, praying that you were near. I love you Mendi, Your big sister Lynette To everyone else, who may be reading this. We see you sitting there, with your quiet and uneasy stare. No words coming out, so much you’re thinking about. With this there is no easy answer, she wasn’t taken from us by cancer. No drug to blame, nothing logically explains. So don’t expect to heal the pain, our hearts are deeply tear stained. Just by being here, we know that you care.

  4. Your light will continue to shine on through the many good deeds you’ve done, the kindness you’ve shown, and the memories you’ve made. God Bless you all. Love, Kristin

  5. The stories I’ve read coming out since Monday have shown the wonderful legacy Mendi left behind, and the impact she had on so many. She was a true example of grace and love. The verse 1 Timothy 4:12 “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.” This was Mendi. I pray you find comfort in knowing how loved, and admired she was by many. Her light will still shine on in everyone she touched. I will continue to keep you all in my prayers. ♥️🙏

  6. Cotter family: You are in my thoughts and prayers. May the Lord be with you all and may you find peace. Requiem aternam dona ei, Domine, et lux perpetua luccat ei. Requiescat in pace. Amen 🙏🏼

  7. We are friends of Mendi’s brother Matt. Our prayers and thoughts go out to the family at this terrible and sad time.
