Rehlander, MSgt Dennis A., 57, of Derby, KS, entered into rest on Monday, March 16, 2009 at Wesley Medical Center of natural causes. Service 2:00 P.M., Friday, March 20, National Guard Armory, 3535 W. Douglas, Wichita. Dennis was born to Milton and Darliene Rehlander on February 22, 1952 in Oelwein, Iowa. He graduated from Oelwein High School in 1970 and entered the US Air Force. Dennis retired after 24 years at McConnell AFB, Kansas in 1994 and also from OReillys Auto Parts in Wichita, Kansas in 2008. Dennis is survived by his wife, Sangdain and two children, Jeffrey Rehlander and wife, Cindy of Hutchinson, Kansas and Kerri and husband, Brian Bradley of Wichita, granddaughter, Jayden, his parents, sister, Margie and brothers, Larry, Jerry and David of Iowa and Minnesota. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Dennis name at Meritrust Credit Union, 8015 E. 22nd N., Wichita, KS, 67226. Downing Lahey Mortuary East.

  1. I was so sorry to learn of Dennis’ recent death. I knew Dennis growing up in Oelwein and am a high school classmate of Larry’s. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
