Samuel Evan Spiess

Spiess, Samuel Evan, 24, passed away on March 16, 2013. Rosary 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 19, 2013 and Funeral Mass 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 20, 2013 both at All Saints Catholic Church. Sam was born on May 31, 1988 in Wichita, KS. Sam is survived by his parents, Jim and Jane Spiess; sisters, Molly Spiess and Angie (Faron) Cassity; nephew, Kyle Cassity; and niece Lillian Cassity all of Wichita. Sam was a National Merit Scholar, and Eagle Scout, and won countless awards in both high school and college. Sam was a lover of all animals and connected with their intuitive spirit and unconditionally loving nature. Sam overcame the monumental struggles of chronic illness time and time again. His incredible strength and perseverance made us all stronger. Sam is a son, a brother, and a hero.
