Mary Acosta Benefield

Mary Acosta Benefield, 93, died Thursday, June 29, 2017 after a short hospital stay. Mary is survived by her five children, Rita Foster, Patrick (Lisa), Corrinna (Mike) Irvin, Christopher (Karlene), and Veronica (Mark) Meyers, as well as 14 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Luther Gene, her parents, several siblings and a grandson. Rosary at 6:30 pm Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Downing & Lahey East Chapel, 6555 E Central, Wichita; Funeral Mass at 2 pm Monday, July 3, at St. Jude Catholic Church, 3130 N Amidon Ave., Wichita 67204.
