Hedden, Donna M., 90, died peacefully in Wichita, KS on Thursday, March 17, 2011. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 25 at Wichita Bible Church, 633 S. Woodlawn, Wichita. Donna was born in Lincoln, NE on May 27, 1920, the daughter of Ed and Ada Beckman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Hedden, son, Rick Hedden, grandson, Tony Hedden, great-grandson, C. J. Rhoten, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Donna was a devoted homemaker, wife and mother. She enjoyed playing bridge and was a life master, playing in tournaments with Wendell all over the Midwest. She thoroughly enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Donna is survived by son, Ken Hedden (Paulette) of Parkville, MO; son, Jim Hedden (Pam) of Wichita; 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, as well as many loving family members. In lieu of flowers, Donnas family suggests contributions to Sunrise Christian Academy, 5500 E. 45th, Bel Aire, KS, 67220. Downing Lahey Mortuary East.

Jim and Pam and Family, Donna was such a beautiful Lady. When I first met here, she and Wendel would come to Happiness Plaza Beauty Salon with the ‘twins’…’Let the fun BEGIN’. She just smiled and let Wendel do his thing. I have fond memories, and have you all in my prayers…Gaye Maranda.
