Irene Louise Polson

Irene Louise Polson, 93, homemaker and partner in Polson Pharmacy, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015. Irene was a loving wife and mother. She was active in her childrens activities, church, South Central Kansas Pharmaceutical Auxillary, investment clubs and Irene loved golfing and dancing with her late husband, Hugh. Preceded in death by husband, Hugh Thomas Polson; parents, Walter and Mary (Hickle) Skolaut; brothers, Herman, Vernon, Earl and James Skolaut. Survivors: children, Kay Blinn (Robert) of Wichita, Stephen Polson (Dee) of Hillsborough, NJ; brother, Paul Skolaut (Mary Ann); sister, Gladys Roller (William); grandsons, Jeff Allmon, Thomas Polson and Adam Blinn, and 2 great-grandchildren. Visitation with the family, 6-8 p.m., Friday, March 20, Downing Lahey Mortuary West. Funeral service, 10 a.m., Saturday, March 21, Trinity Presbyterian Church, 2258 N. Marigold, Wichita, KS 67204. Service to be officiated by Art Smith. Memorial established with Trinity Presbyterian Church.
