Qualls, Gordon L., 83, longtime Wichita resident, went to be with his Lord, July 1, 2007. Memorial service 10:00 A.M., Thursday, Sharon Baptist Church. Gordon was born in Grier, New Mexico, November 5, 1923 to Benjamin and Lula Pearl Qualls. He was a farmer and rancher in Butler County, KS and retired from Cessna Aircraft. Survivors: wife of 64 years, Jewell (Dareing) Qualls; sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Karen Qualls of Littleton, CO and Mark and Dawn Qualls of Wichita; brother, Buford Qualls and his wife, Norma Jean of Amsterdam, NY; sisters-in-law, Cleo Qualls of Clovis, NM and Paula Bloedorn and her husband, Nick of Peoria, AZ; nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Sharon Baptist Church, 2221 S. Oliver, Wichita, KS, 67218 and Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS, 67202. God is so good to give precious memories that will help to ease the pain of loss, and it is our prayer that each of you will comforted with these precious memories.
Judy, Roger, and Mark: In case our other tribute went through Wichita Eagle, we wanted once again to say how sorry we all are to hear of Gordon’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. We have many wonderful memories and he will never be forgotten. We just heard today, as Norma Ayers sent the obit via e-mail.
