Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I was so sorry to hear about your Dad. I have such great memories of being so welcome in your home and also of working those years at the plant with him. My love and condolences to you all.

  2. I was saddened to hear of Mr. Campbell’s death. Seeing his photo makes me smile and takes me back to my childhood, when he and my dad worked together at McCormick-Armstrong. He is one of the folks I will always remember. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.

  3. Dear Nancy, Steve and Craig, We all loved your dad. He was always a great neighbor and friend, someone we could count on and someone we could party with. I will keep you and your families in my thoughts and prayers.

  4. Steve i just now read your father’s passing in the Eagle. i am so sorry to be unable to attend the services. please know that you and your family are in my prayers. may the Lord bless you unexpectedly in your time of grieving.

  5. Sorry for the loss of your Father. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of sorrow. May God bring you comfort and peace.

  6. Dear Nancy, I was just thinking about your dad the other day. My mother, Elizabeth, died in June. I only knew him from Catholic Care. Even so, I felt like I could tell a lot about him and his personality. Take care of yourself. When you have been through such a long process, it is bittersweet. May God bless you and your family during this time to have sweet memories of him. I hope to see you again sometime in another venue. Love…Jan Kelley

  7. I remember Uncle Russ at all the Bruns Family functions. He was always telling jokes and having fun. He always had the biggest smile on his face. We have lost a treasured family member and a great american.

  8. Mr. Campbell was a wonderful, always helpful friend there at McCormick-Armstrong. We were able to help him several times with historical materials to be photographed and then used in various annual reports and publishing projects. It was always a pleasure to work with him and the fine people at M-A, and then to see Mr. Campbell at the Safeway store in Normandie, all of those years ago. Wonderful memories. He will be missed. A nice man with a smile and genuine welcome whenever we would meet.

  9. Nancy, Steve, and Craig I am sorry for your loss but I know with his affliction you lost him awhile ago. I will always remember him and your Mom as my neighbors and great friends of Mom and Dad’s and our family. I have missed your Mom for a long time and I know my Mom does too. Your Dad was so nice to me and very special to me. When I was in labor with Traci I went to your house to be with my parents and yours. They will both always be in my heart. My love and best to all of you. Jane Vrzak Newman
