Leila Joyce George

Leila Joyce George, 61, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 2:17 p.m., surrounded by her family. Visitation with the family, 6-8 p.m., Friday, October 24; Service, 11 a.m., Saturday, October 25, both at Downing Lahey West. Leila was born January 18, 1953 in Stillwell, Oklahoma. She was a former employee of Beechcraft, an avid reader, crafter and quilter. She impacted several lives and will be greatly missed. Leila kept her faith throughout an extended illness. She fought the good fight. Preceded in death by her son, Brian Oneal George, and parents, Willis and Leila B. Kilpatrick. Survivors: son, Christopher (Rebecca) and children Ashley, Cameron and Reese; daughters-in-law, Dana, and children Zachary, (Melanie and Rayne), Briana, (Robert and Carter), Dakota, (Marissa and Maason), and daughter-in-law, Vicki and children Chantz, MiKayla and Devon; granddaughter, Emalee; brother, Pat (Brenda); sister, Charlotte; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
