Jack W. Windsor, 78, passed away as he slept, Monday, March 18, 2013. A Celebration of Life will be at Downing Lahey West Chapel, 11:00 A.M., Thursday, March 21, 2013. Born February 14, 1935, to Leo Windsor and Thelma Smith Windsor in Fredrick, OK. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gary Floyd Windsor. He was a devoted 35-year employee of Southwestern Bell. He is survived by wife, Shirley Windsor; brother, Max (Connie) Windsor; sisters, Karron Keyes and Kathy Windsor; sons, Eric (Melissa) Windsor, Brad (Benita) Windsor, Bart (Rhonda) Windsor; stepdaughter, Brenda Humphreys; grandsons, Sean (Abby) Windsor, Damien Windsor, Ian Windsor, Andre Windsor; granddaughter, Lauren Swedberg; great-grandchildren, Damien D., Cierra, Nadalyn, and Dominic; nieces, Shelly (James) Armstrong, Ashley Wright; nephews, Brian Macheers, Aaron (Lisa) Windsor, Lance (Ann) Windsor), Nathan (Tara) Cecil; and special great-grandchildren, Jaiden, Alleeya, Auriah. He is also survived by other extended family members. Jack loved his country and was proud of his military service and often said that it was the best decision of his life, but most of all he loved his family. The family would like to thank the staff members at the Cancer Care Center of Kansas and Harry Hynes Chemo Center for the loving and Christian care that they provided. To all of those who prayed for Jacks recovery, the family extends their eternal thanks.
