Interment will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday in Bethel Cemetery, Amorita, OK. Olen Was a WWII veteran. Preceded in death by first wife, Eleanor. Survivors: wife, Juanita (Troutman) Gerdes; son, Jeffrey A. Gerdes (Cathy) of Wichita; daughters, Lynette M. Brown (Raymond) of Haysville, KS and Christine N. McConnell (Phillip) of Augusta, KS; step-children, Merlin Troutman (Delores), Donald Troutman and Richard Troutman; brother, Robert Gerdes of Salina, KS; sister, Mary Church of Morton, WA; 7 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 13 step-great-grandchildren; 7 step-great-great-grandchildren; .
