  1. We’ve been so lucky to have known Joanna. I always looked forward to talking with her at breakfast and the club meetings. We had a lot of fun on tours. I’ll never forget the time the ladies sat on the side of the road in the heat, waiting for the guys to get back with a part to fix your car. Joanna made the waiting a fun experience. Please accept our sincere sympathy for your loss of Joanna. She will be missed by us and everyone who was lucky enough to know her.

  2. Our sincere sympathy in the loss of Joanna. Keith and I always enjoyed her friendship and her joy of life. She was an inspiration to all , these last few years during her struggle. We will not be there Sat. Due to the death of Keith’s brother on the same day as Joannas loss in Tennessee….but will be there in thought and prayer.

  3. To Gilbert & family: I read that Joanna passed away in the paper today. I was so privileged to have met Joanna. She was always so gracious and brave. As we know ALS is such a horrible disease. Gilbert you always seemed so in control and calm as her caregiver. We both know how hard it was to fight the fight from day to day. It was always good to see you both at support group. My prayers go out to you Gilbert and your family. Sharon
