Sams-Mourning, Jean “Jeannie”, 64, retired Avon district manager, passed away Sat., Mar. 19, 2011. Rosary, 7 p.m., Mon., Mar. 21; Service, 10 a.m., Tues., March 22, both at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Preceded in death by father, Joseph OConnell; husband, Robert Mourning. Survivors: mother, Margaret OConnell of Wichita; son, Chad Sams (Aubrey) of Goddard; sisters, Mary Ciccone (Stuart), Nancy Danler (Hank), Linda Collins (Chris) all of Wichita; grandchildren, Alyssa, Misty and Jon; several nieces nephews. Memorials to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 645 N. 119th St. W., Wichita, KS 67235. Downing Lahey Mortuary West.

Margaret & Chad . . Googled Chad, had him on my mind and found that Jeannie has passed away in March. So very sorry. She was a sweetheart and such a proud mother of little Chad. Amy and I have such fond memories of the time we got to babysit him. Jeannie quit work so she could spend more time with him, I didn’t blame her but we sure missed him. God bless you both. Phyllis
