Larry Joseph Prichard

Larry Joseph Prichard, 64, of Wichita, died on Thursday, March 19, 2015. The fifth of ten children, he was born November 18, 1950 in Wichita to J.P. and Frances Prichard. He grew up in Benton, Kansas. Larry taught math, social studies, and coached for nearly 40 years, including 32 years at Truesdell Middle School. He is survived by his wife, Charlene; his three children, Jeremy (Keri) Prichard of Lawrence, Ariane (Brenden) Peters of Wichita, and Adam (Emily) Prichard of Melrose, Massachusetts; three stepchildren, Byron, Ben, and Catherine Hamlin of the home; granddaughters, Natalie, Abigail, and Audrey; step-grandsons, Blake and Breyden; and siblings, Mike, Tim, Patty, Danny, Tom, Teresa, Karen, Mary Lou, Joanne, and their families. Rosary will be 6:00 p.m., Sunday, March 22, 2015 and Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 23, 2015, both at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Haysville, KS. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for funeral expenses. Downing Lahey Mortuary West.
