Thomas Kennedy

Thomas Kennedy 79, passed away from a sudden illness on March 20, 2018. He was born in Wichita on December 24, 1938. Tom was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle who will be greatly missed. He was a retired vice president of L & S Machine. For the last ten years, he had volunteered at the St. Patrick Food Pantry. His parents, Cecilia and Joseph Kennedy, and his brother, William Kennedy, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Vera; brother, Pat (Nancy) Kennedy; sisters, Margaret Blasi, Mary (Gene) Brand, Theresa (Levi) Ziegler; son, Mike (Lori) Kennedy; daughter, Kathleen (Steve) Wappelhorst; grandchildren, Max, Logan and Lorin Kennedy, Megan, Kelly, Sarah and Josh Wappelhorst. Rosary, 6 p.m., Sunday, March 25; Funeral Mass, 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 26, both at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4501 W. Maple in Wichita.
