Malashchuk, Sophie D., 90, former I.D. Watch Case Co. spot welder, died Sunday, October 22, 2006. Rosary 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 25 and Funeral Mass 10:00 A.M., Thursday, October 26, both at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Preceded in death by son, John Malashchuk. Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Carol Malashchuk of Wichita; sisters, Mary Monica Harty of Long Island, NY, Frances Schirmer of Inverness, FL and Estelle Magdalen Sbarbaro of Lititz, PA; grandchildren, John Malashchuk, Mark Malashchuk, Michelle Dunsworth and Eric Malashchuk; one great-grandchild, Jacob Dunsworth.
