Jerry Ray Fisher

Fisher, Jerry Ray, 72, passed away Monday, March 22, 2011. Service 1:30 p.m., Monday, March 28 at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Jerry was born in Wichita on November 11, 1938. He spent most of his life in Texas. He served in the Army, as a security guard for a private company and also worked for the Dept. of Corrections Parole Board. Jerry came to Wichita in the mid-80s and made his home in his grandfather P. J. Fishers house. He spent a lot of love and time at his church, Prairie Meadows Steps to Life Church. Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Fisher and mother, Martha Adrian. He is survived by a sister, Judy Richardson and husband, Lowell of Hurst TX, a step-brother, Bob Adrian and wife, Donna of Wichita, uncle, John Fisher and wife, Lynda of Sebago, ME, 2 nephews 1 niece, 8 great-nieces and nephews. A memorial has been established with Prairie Meadows Church, 9330 Prairie Meadows Circle, Derby, KS, 67037.
