Kampling, Kay (Kramer), 69, died Friday, March 23, 2007. Rosary, 7:00 P.M., Monday, March 26, Downing Lahey Mortuary West. Funeral Mass, 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 27, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Burial will be at St. Anthonys Cemetery in Garden Plain, KS. Kay was born August 30, 1937 in Garden Plain, Kansas to William B. Kramer and Mary Kramer. She was raised on the familys dairy farm in Clonmel, Kansas. She married Gerald J. Kampling November 3, 1956. She was predeceased in death by her father William and brother Billy Kramer. She is survived by her husband Jerry, daughter Linda Siders and husband David, son John Kampling and wife Tish, all of Wichita, son Ron Kampling and wife Mary of Roseville, CA, daughter Sandy James and husband Marty of Shawnee, KS, mother Mary Kramer, sisters Rosemary Dugan, Helen Metzen, Carolyn Goertz, Patty Peters, brother Richard Kramer, grandchildren Josh Siders, Brian Johnson, Aaron Siders, Craig Barnhart, Missy Kampling, Ashley James, Katie Kampling, Brekkyn Corcoran, Michael James, Dylan Barnhart, Brayden Kampling, Brycen Kampling, and great-grandson Brandon James. Kay retired as a Customer Service Representative from Glacier AB Sales and was longtime owner of Star Brite Linen Service. Kay was devoted to caring for and providing boundless love and support to her family. Kay and Jerrys family and friends gathered last year for a joyous celebration of their 50th Wedding Anniversary.
