Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
Kent – My thoughts are with you as you go thru this time in your life. I remember spending a Thanksgiving Day at your house years ago when we were both kids. Your mom prepared the typical Thankgiving Day feast which was delicious! In her haste to get all the trimmings on the table she became frustrated thinking that she was missing the ‘other’ two legs of the turkey (she thought all turkeys had four legs). Of course, my dad and yours teased her all thru the dinner. I never eat a turkey dinner but what I don’t think of your mother and always tell that story to my family. So again this year, in just a few weeks, we will sit at our Thanksgiving table and discuss whether turkeys have 2 or 4 legs and think of your mother. Take care and remember the fun times!
Dear Maxine, Philip, Ronnie,Carol and other surviving relatives in our Calkins family. In recent years, the only time the remaining few of us get together is to gather to say goodbye. Pat and I offer our hearfelt sympathy for your loss. I will see you Wed and we can revisit some of the happy times when our aunts and uncles and grandparents held dinners and parties.. love, Betty
