Norbert Vincent Schneider, 86, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2013. Norbert was a retired electrical engineer who served in the U.S. Navy Seabees. His interests included family, gardening, travel, snow skiing, dancing and continuing his education. Rosary, 7:30 p.m., Monday, October 28; Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 29, both at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Preceded in death by parents, Vincent and Cecelia (Rombeck) Schneider; sister, Mickie Pasek; brother, Matthew Schneider. Survived by wife, Peggy; daughters, Suzanne Haag of San Diego, CA, Joani Richardson (Clay) of Morganton, NC, Sheila Schneider of San Diego, CA; sister, Dorothy Edwards of Little Rock, AR; grandchildren, Maggie, Jennifer, Zachary, Erica, Isabella and Vincente.
