Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
Kandy: So sorry to hear about your mother! I know this is a difficult time for you and that you will miss her. I plan to send a donation to the Humane Society in honor of how much Ruby always loved her pets. You and Marc are in my thoughts and prayers. Your cousin, Ellen
Kandy, you may not remember me, I am Dr Acker and Glenna Acker’s daughter, Amy. I was taken aback by seeing your mothers obituary in the paper. I frequently ran into her at Dillons, the Hair Connection, etc.. We had visited on many occassions. She was a beautiful lady and will be missed, my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time Amy Acker – Metzinger
I have known Ruby for over 60 years, having been a year behind her class at El Dorado Junior College; then following WW2 I was employed in the Accounting Dept at KG&E where Ray was also working. During part of her servicve with the School Board she sometimes consulted me regarding Data Processing equipment Dr. Sheposier was attempting to convince the Board toapprove. She was always concerned about getting the most value possible out of the education money the Board was entrusted with. She is one Grand Lady.
Kandy: So sorry to hear about you mom! We are in Arizona and will be here another week. I thought you mother was so very nice and know this is very hard. Remember…’if Christ brings you to it…he will get you through it’. I am praying for you and Mark to find comfort in good memories…and strength from your many friends. Our sincere sympathy….Sue and Ralph Vautravers
Dear Kandy and Marc: We express to you our deepest sympathy in the untimely passing of Ruby. May the Lord be your strength and comfort. Ruby will be remembered by so many of us for her walk with the Lord and her Christian testimony to the community. We consider it a privilege to have known her. Having lost our parents, we know some of the pain of loss. We also know of the goodness of God to give us precious memories to help to ease this pain of loss. May you take comfort in Isaiah 26:3, 4: ‘Thou will keep you in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Him. Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock.’ Our love and prayers are with you. Curtis and Jody Drevets
Hi Kandy……I was so sorry to learn of your mothers passing. I know how close you two were, reminded me very much of the relationship I had with my mom. You are lucky to have had that kind of friendship and closeness, I know many people who do not and I feel very sorry for them. Please accept Steve and my sincere sympathy.
