McDonough, Sharen Kay, 67, retired A.R.A. Services employee, passed away Monday, October 25, 2010. Memorial service 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 30, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Preceded in death by parents, Wilbur and Lucille Staley and brother, Virgil Staley. Survivors: husband, Patrick Joseph McDonough; children, Sean McDonough (Susie) and Molly McDonough, both of Wichita, Eileen Kober (Greg) of Salina, KS and Amanda Winchester (Don) of Washington, DC; grandchildren, Wesley, Kaitlin and Timothy McDonough, Lucia and Josh Fierro, Tabatha Bender, Nicholas Kober and Katherine Winchester. Memorials have been established with the National MS Society, 9415 E. Harry, Wichita, KS, 67207 and the American Cancer Society, 818 N. Emporia, S-100, Wichita, KS, 67214.

Eileen, Just wanted to let you know I read about your mom’s passing and my heart goes out to you. I know we haven’t kept touch since high school, but I think of you every time I drive down E. Central and of course when I hear the song you hate, ‘Come on Eileen’, which I heard just yesterday! Just wanted you to know you are not forgotten and you and your family are in my prayers.
