Jordan, Steve, 84, died Monday, March 24, 2014. Memorial Service will be 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at St. James Episcopal Church. Steve was born January 26, 1930 in Camden, TN to Cecil C. and Faye Jordan. At the age of 16, he was admitted to the University of Arkansas at Monticello on a music scholarship. In 1961, Steve founded a wine tasting group known as the Wichita Wine Men. He owned Steve Jordan, Inc, a wholesale dealer of electrical appliances, heating and air conditioning. Steve was also a long-time and active member of St. James Episcopal Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; children, Jacqueline Hutsell and Steve Douglas Jordan; sons-in-law, Terry Trull and Ron Beck; grandchild, Hope Sumner. Steve is survived by his wife, Lea Jordan of Wichita, KS; children, Charlotte Trull of Camden, TN, Jim Jordan of Nebraska, Patricia Beck of Rusk, TX, David Jordan (Kris) of Wichita, and their mother, Evelyn Isaacs of St. Joseph, MO; step-children, Kenneth Strickland of Tucson, AZ, and Debra Rimer of Wichita; 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with St. James Episcopal Church, 3750 E.
