Nunn, Myron “Mike”, 85, loving father and husband, Cessna retiree of 32 years, WWII veteran, lifetime member of VFW, American Legion and DAV, passed away Friday, March 25, 2011. Visitation rosary 7:00 p.m., Monday, March 28 at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Mike will be interred 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 29 at Mound Grove Cemetery, Independence, MO. Preceded in death by brother, Arthur Sherman Nunn, Jr. Survivors: wife, Sue (Long) Nunn; daughter, Michaele Clour of Ratliff City, OK; grandson, Toby Leavendusky of Mayetta, KS; step-daughter, Christy Fletcher of Birmingham, AL; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren. Memorials to: Wichita Association of the Deaf, 1646 E Central, Wichita, KS, 67214.

Uncle Mike, You were a wonderful person to whom family was always most important. Your stories from when you and Dad were growing up always brought laughter to out home. Michaele, Sue, Toby, Dottie, Fran, Lilia and I were moved to tears when the navy bugler played taps at the funeral.It was special. We all miss you dearly. Please give our love to Mom, Dad, Grandma and Granddad.
