Ziesch, Verneddie “Eddie”, 86, co-founder of Wichita Mothers of Twins Club and Sedgwick County and Air Capital REACT clubs. Former teacher and paraprofessional, long-time VA Hospital volunteer and Sedgwick Plaza ambassador, passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2010. Rosary 5:30 p.m., Thursday, October 28, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 29, St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Preceded in death by husband, Ernest J. Ziesch. Survivors: daughters, Rose Alvin, Anna Leslie, Jean Carnahan, Joan Teer and Angie Evers; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with the American Diabetes Association, 837 S. Hillside, Wichita, KS, 67211.

I HADN’T SEEN HER FOR A LONG TIME, BUT THOUGHT OF HER OFTEN. OUR DAUGHTER, LINNE USED TO PLAY WITH ANGIE. LINNE IS L. COX NOW AND LIVES IN OLATHE. SHE AND PAUL HAVE OUR 9 GRANDDOGS-NO GRANDCHILDREN. OUR SON BILL IS SINGLE AND LIVES IN WICHITA. MAY THE LORD BE WITH YOU DURING THIS TRYING TIME.
