John J. Neises

Neises, John, J., retired farmer, went to heaven to share the love of the Lord with his wife, Ginger, of 53 years. Born August 6, 1920, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2010, at the age of 89. Visitation with the family 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday, July 12, 2010 at Downing Lahey Mortuary West. Vigil service 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 13, 2010, and Funeral Mass 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 14, 2010, both at St. Mark The Evangelist Catholic Church. John was preceded in death by his wife, brothers, Alfred, Edwin, Marcelus, and Joseph, sisters, Marie Riordan and Marceline Weber, and granddaughter, Ashley Neises. He is survived by son, Glenn (Connie), of Emporia; daughter, Candace, of Wichita; sisters, Josephine Jacobs, of Valley Center, and Theresa Neises, of Wichita; grandsons, Alex and Joel; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Brayden. In lieu of flowers, please give to the St. Mark Cemetery Fund, 19240 W. 29th St. N., Colwich, Kansas, 67030, which John and Ginger founded. Visitation with the family 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
