Basilia Salazar

Salazar, Basilia “Bea”, 90, former employee of Cudahy Meat Packing Co., GPI, beloved mother, sister, and aunt, loving and devoted grandmother and great-grandmother. Rosary will be at 7:30 P.M., Thursday, November 1, 2012 and the Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, November 2, 2012, both at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 2701 Pattie. Basilia was born April 15, 1922 in New Braunfels, TX and passed peacefully into the next world on Sunday, October 28, 2012 in her home. Preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Salazar; sisters, Frances Espinoza, Ramona Vasquez; brother, Cirilo “Joe” Acosta. She is survived by her five wonderful children, Maria of Wichita; Jaime of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Tomas of Rio Rancho, NM; Daniel of Chandler, AZ; and Diana Salazar-Fox of Denver, CO; brothers and sister, Mary Benefield, George Acosta, Celso Acosta; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
