Magda V. Seed

Seed, Magda V., 86, retired tailor for Henrys, Richmond Brothers and Woolf Brothers, died Tuesday, July 11, 2006. Service 1:00 P.M., Friday, July 14, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Magda was born June 3, 1920 in Estonia, a Baltic state, to Karl and Charlotta (Kermann) Vettos. She came to America in 1950 under sponsorship of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Mrs. Seed was an avid gardener and animal lover. She and her husband loved to entertain friends in their home. Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Seed, former county attorney, who died May 27, 1988. Survivors: friends, Frieda Struebing and Nancy Howey, both of Wichita and Janice and George Kopp of Prairie Village, KS. Memorial may be sent to Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 600 N.
