Becker, Wayne F., 60, devoted husband, amazing father and adored grandfather, died Saturday, July 11, 2009, after a short but valiant fight with cancer. Memorial service, 11:00 A.M., Thursday, July 16, Downing and Lahey Mortuary West. Preceded in death by sister, Sandy Becker. Survivors include his wife, Kathy; daughters, Michelle (Shawn) Collins of Colwich, Heather (Jason) Jones of Wichita, Hally Jane Becker of Colwich; parents, Buss and Petie Becker; sister, Sherrie Barton; grandchildren, Skylar and Mackenzie Collins, Corbin Becker, Grant and Gabe Jones. Memorial established with Piney Point Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 1569, Rogers, AR 72757.

I didnt have the opportunity to know Wayne very long. What i can say is that he always seemed to be very content every time i came to assist him. I knew he was not happy about the new SAP program at work, knowing this, i made it a purpose to always let him know that i was just a phone call away to help him if he needed it. Although i do think he knew i was sincere, a few times he was ruluctant to ask. I feel bad for not being a little more persistant to lend a helping hand more often than i did. Not sure if he knew it, but i liked him as a friend and a co-worker. I wish i could have visited with him a little more. Peace Be with you Wayne, and your family.
