Morris Eugene Goodson

Goodson, Morris Eugene, 79, passed away, Monday, October 30, 2006. Visitation with family present will be 5:00 P.M. ~ 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 1, with the service at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, November 2, both at Downing and Lahey Mortuary East. Morris was born August 24, 1927 in El Dorado, KS, son of Robert and Flossie Goodson. He retired from Raytheon after 28 years of service. Morris was a life time member of The Church of the Nazarene, at the time of his death he was a member of the Eastridge Church of the Nazarene, where he was an active member until his death. His parents and four brothers, Marvin, Robert, Joe and George preceded him in death. Survivors: wife, Vera; son, Morris Lee Goodson;, daughter, Marsha Foster of Olathe, KS; step-sons, Dan Henry and wife Nittaya, Ron Henry, David Henry and Kathy all of Wichita; 3 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Verla May Eastman of Newton, KS and Deloris Johanson of Maize, KS; brothers, Jim and Albert Goodson of McPherson, KS. In lieu of flowers the family requests tributes to The Eastridge Nazarene Church, 6433 E. Morris, Wichita, KS, 67207. Visitation with family present will be 5:00 P.M. ~ 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 1, Downing Lahey Mortuary East.
