Dana R. Horning

Horning, Dana R. 52, died Friday, October 30, 2015. Visitation with the Family will be from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M., Thursday, November 5, 2015, at Downing Lahey East Mortuary. Funeral Service will be at 10:30 A.M., Friday, November 6, 2015, at The Church at Park City, 1510 E. 61st St. N., Park City, KS 67219. Dana was a member of The Church at Park City. She enjoyed scrapbooking and cooking. Dana was the primary caregiver and supporter of her grandson, Landon “Bear,” and his experiences with the Shriners Hospital for Children. Preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Joan VanDorien; sister, Bridgette Conley; brother, Chris Contreras. Survived by her husband, Chris Horning; ex-husband, Alan Oliver; daughters, Joani (Gary) LaCore, Anna Oliver, Kelly Oliver, all of Wichita; son, Julian Thomas-Horning of Derby; grandchildren, Christopher, Emma, Lilly, Landon “Bear.” In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Midian Shrine Plane of Mercy, 130 N.
