Lawler, Martha M. (Mika), 82, retired accountant with the Huxtable Hammond Co. in Kansas City, Kansas, died Sunday, July 13, 2008. Rosary 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, July16, Downing and Lahey East Chapel. Funeral Mass 10:00 A.M. Thursday, July 17, All Saints Catholic Church. Entombment 4:00 P.M. Thursday, July 17, Resurrection Mausoleum, Lenexa, Kansas. Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Gertrude Mika and a brother Richard Mika. Survivors: daughter Carol Mae Warren of Wichita; son and daughter-in-law Larry J. and Roberta Lawler of Milo, MO; brother and sister-in-laws Eugene and Barbara Mika of Prairie Village, KS, Charlotte Mika of Stilwell, KS; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Memorial established with American Lung Association 40 Via Roma, Wichita, Kansas 67230.

Carol we were sorry to miss the services for Martha as we were having our family week at the Lake of the Ozarks. Two of our grandchildren go to Wichita State and live in Wichita. We also have a great grandchild there. They are Todd, Kristin and cooper Mika. We know Martha had health problems but it is still hard to let go. We send our sympathy and prayers. Melvin and Coelesta Mika.
Martha, You and my late husband Tim Gustin used to have such a good friendship at HuxHam.We would meet you for lunch once in awhile and just talk about the old days. You were such a good Lady and you will be missed.
