Peggy Gene DeForest

Peggy Gene DeForest, 92, music lover and First Presbyterian Church choir member of 64 years (1947-2011), died Wednesday, March 30, 2016. Preceded in death by her Husbands, James Leslie Kerr, Elbert Murray DeForest; Parents, Artie and Chloe Lentz. Survived by her Daughters, Susan Billups Rabick of Nebraska City, NE, Patricia Prentice of Austin, TX; Step-Sons, Elbert L. Deforest of Kansas City, KS, Kenneth W. DeForest of Colorado, Springs, CO; Brother, Jack Lentz of San Diego, CA; 9 Grandchildren; 6 Great-Grandchildren. From the heartfelt parties she hosted to her impeccably coordinated outfits, Peggy did everything with style, grace and authenticity. We wish to thank the many friends Peggy made throughout her lifetime, from Wichita State University, to First Presbyterian Church to Larksfield Place residents and staff. Each of you added color, depth and richness to her long and happy life. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, April 16, 2016, at First Presbyterian Church.
