Dietz, Emma M., 94, retired sales with Hinkel Department Store, died Tuesday, July 15, 2008. Service noon Saturday, July 19, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Preceded in death by husband, Edwin Dietz. Survivors: brother, Leo Steinle (Sue) of Hooker, OK; sisters-in-law, Esther Karst of Hoisington, KS and Lee Kauffman of Abilene, KS; brother-in-law, Markus Dietz of McPherson, KS; 16 nieces and nephews. A memorial has been established with Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 600 N. Greenwich Rd., Wichita, KS, 67206 and Lutheran Braille Workers, Inc, 13471 California St., Yucaipa, CA, 92399.
