Lawrence A. Brownlee

Brownlee, Lawrence, A., 90, passed away on April 1, 2011. Larry was born on January 29, 1921, graduated from East High School and Wichita State University, and began a career as an aerospace manufacturing engineer, retiring in 1986. Larry is survived by his wife of 65 years, Hilda; daughters Dana Walters and Debra Doyle (Tim); sons John A.(Terri) and Lawrence A.; sisters Elinor Amstutz and Dorothy Lynch. Survivors also include 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; brother Albert; and son James. Memorial service will be held at Downing and Lahey West Chapel on Thursday, April 7 at 2 p.m. Reception following.
