Bogard, Ruth, loving mother and wife, changed worlds Thursday, July 16, 2009. Visitation with the family 6:00-8:00 P.M., Monday, July 20, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Service 2:00 P.M, Tuesday, July 21, University Congregational Church, 9209 E. 29th N. Wichita. Ruth was a Board Member of Heartspring and belonged to the Alter Guild and Stephen Ministries at East Heights United Methodist Church. She was a member of P.E.O. Preceded in death by husband, Bernard W. Bogard. Survivors: children Jayne Seeberg of New Canaan, CT, Steven Bernard Bogard of Cebu, Philippines, and Nancy Bogard of Wichita; grandchildren, Jennifer Shockey, Elizabeth Towers, Courtney Mason, Brittany Whaley, Bo Haertl, Evie Haertl, Sabrina Ruth Bogard and Bernard Baird Bogard; 6 great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with the Wichita Childrens Theatre and Dance Center, 201 Lulu, Wichita, 67211. Visitation with the family 6:00-8:00 P.M., Monday, July 20, Downing Lahey Mortuary East.
