Marcian G. Marc Fisher

Fisher, Marcian G. “Marc”, 89 years young, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle to the Fisher clan, passed away Friday, November 2, 2007. Vigil service, 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 6; service, 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 7, both at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Marc was a retired aeronautical inspector. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and retired from the Air Force as one of the first two airmen to achieve the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. Preceded in death by parents, Emil and Clara; brothers, James, Omer, and Adrian; sister, Amelia Sakis; wife, Donna; an infant daughter; granddaughter, Heather Fisher. Survivors: children, Gregory (Kathy) Fisher of Eureka, MT, Michael (Linda) Fisher of Wichita, Suzanne (Michael) Frantz of Claremont, CA, Mary K. (Craig) Cross of Wichita, Marcia D. Fisher and Aaron Ketchell of Lawrence; brothers, Vince Fisher of Garden Plain, Daniel Fisher of Wichita; sisters, Joan Stuhlsatz and Patricia Renner of Garden Plain; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
