Prewitt, Carol C., 89, homemaker, died Wednesday, April 2, 2008. Memorial service 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at East Heights United Methodist Church Chapel. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl. Survivors: daughter, Kathryn Prewitt, of Tempe, AZ; sons, Stephen Prewitt, of Wichita, and Kim Prewitt and his wife, Suzanne, of Sacramento, CA; three grandchildren. Memorials have been established with the American Cancer Society, 818 N. Emporia S-100, Wichita, KS, 67202, and Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS, 67202.

Dear Prewitt ‘Kids’, This is your former neighbor, Mary Van Nortwick Brodie. I was very sorry to read of the loss of your mother. She was always one of my very favorite people, and I always enjoyed visiting with her so much in the neighborhood and at church. She will be missed by many! My thoughts and my prayers are with all of you now. Jean and I lost our mother at the age of 89 years old also. I will be thinking of each of you this week. Love, Mary
