Jensen, Forrest D., Jr., 71, proprietor of Rose Bowl West, passed away Friday, April 2, 2010. Memorial service to be held at a later date. Preceded in death by parents, Forrest and Lola (Ellis) Jensen, Sr. Survivors: wife, Barbara; daughter, Tina Jensen-Long (Mike); sons, Craig and Jeff Jensen; granddaughters, Jenny and Casey Jensen and Hollyann Johansen, all of Wichita; grandson, Kori Jensen of Peoria, IL; brothers, Robert Jensen (Lois) and Mark Jensen (Connie) all of Wichita, Bill Jensen (Cheri) of Alvarado, TX; sister, Marjorie VanVechten (George) of Rogue River, OR. Memorial established with Christ the King Catholic School Fund, 4411 W. Maple, Wichita, KS 67209. Downing Lahey Mortuary West.

Forrest was a great guy. He and the whole family were so wonderful to my daughter April & all the homeschool students who bowled at Rose Bowl West. It was such a pleasure coordinating the league with you all for 11 years. He was a very sweet and fun fellow who always had some interesting bit of current news to discuss or a bad joke to tell. I’m so glad that he followed in his father’s footsteps providing a wonderful gathering place for so many people over the years. His devotion to the sport made it possible for countless kids and disabled people to have the opportunity to learn to bowl. He will be missed by alot of people no doubt. My thoughts & prayers are with you my friends.
Forrest was a dear good friend, and Employer. He was nice to eveyone he knew and will be missed.
