John Thomas Brock, III

John Thomas Brock, III, 72, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 surrounded by his family. He loved his family dearly and was blessed to have four beautiful granddaughters that brought him great joy. They affectionately called him "Papa" and "Poppy." Last year he celebrated 50 years of marriage with his wife, Vivian "Boo." He always enjoyed work and loved the people he worked with. He was successful in purchasing and as Director of Materials Management at NCR, AT&T, and LSI Logic. He finished his career at Big Dog Motorcycles as VP of Operations. This was a dream job for him being an avid, life-long motorcyclist. Rosary will be at 6:00 pm, Sunday, November 6, 2016, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Funeral Mass will be at 1:00 pm, Monday, November 7, 2016, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Preceded in death by his Parents, John Thomas Brock, Jr. and Mada Madell Brock. Survived by his Wife, Boo; Son, John “Jack” Thomas (Shelby) Brock IV of Wichita; Daughter, Michelle (Chris) Opheim of Olathe, KS; Brothers, Robert (Louise) Brock of Wichita, Thomas Brock of Shelton, WA; Grandchildren, Jacklynn (Kyle) Johnson, Frances Opheim, Ashlynn Brock, Katelynn Brock; as well as many nieces and nephews.
